Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Vantage (https://vantagedaily.live), operated by Shirin Kaul, collects, why, and the choices you have. We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account: your email address, used to sign you in and contact you about your account.
• Reading preferences: the topics and states you follow, topics you mute, and how you like “takes” delivered. Optionally, you may tell us where you sit on economic and social questions; this is only used to order the arguments within a brief, never to choose which stories you see, and you can clear it at any time in your Profile.
• Reading activity: briefs you open, read or save, so we can apply the free daily limit and avoid repeating stories.
• Waitlist: your email, if you join the waitlist.
• Payments: handled entirely by Dodo Payments (our merchant of record). We receive your subscription status, renewal date and a customer reference; we never see or store your card or bank details.
• Analytics: we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used (pages visited, clicks, scrolling, device and approximate location) through cookies and session replays. Email fields are masked and never recorded. See Microsoft’s privacy statement for details.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell your personal data.
• We don’t infer your political views from your reading; personalisation uses only the preferences you set.
• Your personal data is not sent to the AI that writes briefs; it only processes published news reports.

Who processes data for us

Hosting and database: Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase). Payments: Dodo Payments. Analytics: Microsoft Clarity. AI writing of briefs: Lovable AI. These providers process data only to provide their services to us and may store it outside India.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Payment records are kept as required by tax and accounting law. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing shirin.kaul2027@mastersunion.org. You can change or clear your reading preferences yourself in your Profile. We respond within 30 days.
